careercounselor

Hi I am a Job Counselor helping students find the right job after graduation. I find employment and the business sector to be a fascinating world of how our economic development is measured.

For those who are unemployed or who have been downsized from various industries it is important to look at emerging sectors by getting the necessary training, knowledge and skills to get re-hired.

Careercounselor I would like a tutorial because it would be helpful to me to learn how to find these types of keywords with just a few hundred searches and less competitors because I prefer writing to backlinking any day.

Careercounselor Is there a way that we could have a area for blogging? kind of like the way LiveJournal has it. Sometimes I like to write about things I am thinking about but it doesn't actually fit in the journals or the submission articles.
I like the idea of having a community aspect to blogging on Seekyt. Do you know what I mean?

Careercounselor @admin - you have covered some really important issues with what is happening in the internet stratosphere and I agree it is a popularity contest and people are forced to spend so much time backlinking to their own online properties just to try and get some organic traffic or rank in Google.

I read so many different blogs on the subject and I find people will either be against the backlinking strategies or they will swear by it as the only way and then the top internet marketing gurus keep pushing all these software programs telling newbies that this is the stuff they should be using while Google is saying not to use them.

Just like you mentioned in between all this confusion we can watch Big Brand company websites dominate the search with less than stellar content just because they have figured out how to game the system.

So how are bloggers, freelance writers and small business owners receiving all these mixed messages supposed to know what to do and not to do?

oh yeah and check out this post: www.viperchill.com/affiliate-seo/
He talks about how he thinks websites are ranking for the most profitable keywords and I was shocked with what he says.

Careercounselor Thanks NorDac I appreciate your insight. I can understand how that can be and issue in the future.

Did you see the blog post by Pat Flynn of smartpassiveincome.com?

He discusses about using what he calls "ethical link building" and he recommends guest blogging. Now we just need a list of blogs accepting guest posts in our chosen niches.

Careercounselor Hey NorDac what do you think of using blog networks for backlinks and SEO?

The reason I ask is because I have been reading blogs online about the de-indexing of one of the biggest ones getting shut down.

Careercounselor Thanks susan for the tips, I had not thought of looking for career related items on Zazzle but that is a great idea!

Okay I think I am understanding how its done, with an uploaded image and then the referral link for the product.

I definitely would like an invite to the Zazzle Facebook page, just message me the link.

    Thanks!

Careercounselor Okay I can see how using Squidoo will be a real benefit for writers, I will have to take a look at them again. My first impression of Squidoo has been one of confusion, I do like reading the work of other lensmasters and they seem to have it down pretty good. I just have to learn how it all works. Thanks for recommending your IB article on the subject I will go check it out.

Careercounselor Really cool stuff, I think you did a great job with the images, also the artwork pre-1923 has such a charm to it. You are doing really well with your online endeavors, I admire you very much.

I am looking into promoting Zazzle products because I have heard so many good things about them and like you mentioned it is a great way to diversify online income options.

    Thanks for sharing.

Careercounselor Wow this is really useful information for me, because I have been wondering which affiliate programs are best. One of the main reasons I was interested is because so far up to this point I have been mostly an information writer, which does not require me to sell any products.

It seems that the type of writing I do lends itself well for people clicking on adsense ads and probably chitika ads too. Now that you mentioned CJ as being good for pay per action It may work well with my jobs and employment niche.

I am just learning how to write product based content and so I really can use the tips you have provided on how to do well with Amazon. I live in California and last year they had got rid of their affiliates but it looks like it is all straightened out now.

Do you know if there is any new information regarding the Amazon tax issue for affiliates?

Careercounselor Jasmine I wanted to apologize to you for my lack of participation in this challenge I have really been busy lately and I am so frustrated with myself for not being able to get any articles written, when I joined Seekyt last summer I was full of writing ideas and now I seem to have hit a brick wall. Hopefully I will be able to get back into the swing of things soon.

You and Skeffling are doing a great job meeting your writing goals and that keeps me inspired.
