but when I opened a random article now I noticed that both the old and new share buttons have disappeared !! seems something wrong

Hmm, I'm not sure why that would happen, but it probably has something to do with your browser's cache. Try clearing your cache and reloading the page.

I didn't add any javascript to the page, so I really don't know why they won't load for you, but I assume the new HTML is screwing around with the JS load.

Anyway, try clearing your cache/cookies and reloading the page.

Okay, I added a second set of sharing icons underneath the articles, next to the tags, share, follow, etc., buttons.

The counter on this set of buttons is in sync with the counter on the first set of buttons.

Thanks for the reply but still i can't see the buttons.It is difficult to set the resolution for the share button only. So, please find some other solution. Share button is easily visible on this page.Thanks.

Sorry, I think you misunderstood my reply. I am already actively looking for a replacement/solution. You should not have to set your resolution to anything different. Modern computers have enough room for the share buttons, the article, the sidebar, plus a couple of hundred more pixels. It is only older computers that have trouble.

The solution will be to display different share buttons for old computers.

The new sharing buttons are not going to be implemented right away. It will take time to find a suitable solution, so please allow some time until I can fix this.

Sorry about the problem with the share buttons. Here is where they are located:



As you can see, the buttons are to the left of the main content, so if you have an older computer with a small resolution screen (960px) you won't see the share buttons because they will be hidden to the side.

Since I truly enjoy the minimally intrusive floating buttons on the side of the articles, I need to come up with a solution that only works on smaller resolution screens.

I'll test out some new solutions later on today.
