If you are a Seekyt member, you may have received our newsletter today. Unfortunately, due to some issues, only 1/3 of you received the email.

This newsletter announced the release of a tried-and-true tutorial, demonstrating how you can do your own keyword research and find great keywords for any niche you are in.

If you'd like to view this tutorial (you must be logged in) please visit this link Keyword Research. You will also find a reminder to do keyword research on the submit page.

The newsletters will be going out again in two weeks. Stay tuned!

The tutorial is FANTABULOUS! I've only perused it, but it looks quite comprehensive and I'm looking forward to digging in and learning. Thanks so much for sharing this!!

P.S. Love the new newsletter!

Thanks Patrice! I hope that everyone gets a lot of great use out of it.

Just remember to start off with a very broad niche like I did in the tutorial. If you start off too specific, you might not find any keywords fit the criteria.

I'm glad you like the newsletter! I actually ran into a problem with the new server, causing our website's email IP to be blacklisted by some ISPs, and also causing 4,500 of the 5,000 emails to be sent back to me from my own server.

I'll be sorting out the kinks and getting the next edition our newsletter out to everyone in the next two weeks.

I'm sure you'll work out all of the kinks soon.

I did not get the Newsletter. I looked everywhere for it....will you be resending?
Okay when competition is low is that a good topic...the key words that I was looking at were searched 33,000 times per month...so I thought that was good...should that number be higher? I don't want keywords that have saturated the SEO....

Susan, that number is nearly 10 times higher than our established minimum, so yes it's good. Just make sure you are getting your data reliably, and also make sure that your competition is low for a keyword that is searched that much.

I got my data from Google keyword checker. I took the phrases that they suggested and worked them into my article. Is that right?

No. Follow the keyword research tutorial. That is step 1 of 4 steps.

So is this keyword research tutorial in the Newsletter that I did not receive? Would you mind sending me a copy of your newsletter in an email? So I can know what is going on?

There is a link to it right here in the journal (at the top in the journal post, not in the comments). I also stated that the newsletter was not sent out to everyone because of a glitch with the email software.

Here is the link again: Keyword Research

Yes I saw that...and I again I did not make myself clear...(too much going on) I am unable to download The Free Version of Market Samurai. I tried to download it 6 months ago and could not. I have adobe air....I don't know why this is so hard....thanks for your help :)

Thanks for all of the work you've done with the Research tool and the newsletter (I guess mine is in the mail). I probably wouldn't have figured all of that out on my own. I especially picked up on where you said, what works best on Seekyt. I'm working with the research tool and I think it will be a definite help. I'm sure I'll have questions but I know I can count on all of Seekyt for help.

Anytime you have questions, feel free to ask them here or contact me. I'm glad you are enjoying the tutorial. I hope you get some great results with it :)

I'm wondering why I have problems opening the Google Keyword Tool in Firefox. I log in but that little circular indicator that the page is loading never goes away. I have to open it in Google Chrome.

And in Google Chrome, I tried to export those 800 keywords to an excel file and waited and waited and waited while it was working until finally, I canceled the operation because it was taking so long.

Wonder if it's my computer or if anyone else is experiencing this.

I think it might be your computer. Make sure you have javascript enabled! It sounds like this might be your problem in Firefox. If you use ad blockers or javascript blockers, disable them to use this tool.

I just tested it and it looks like it's working fine for now.

Ah, the infamous ad blocker again. I disable it for the page and see what happens. Thanks!
