I just joined today. The main reason I joined was because of the hub page I read that indcated this site was created to be able to help internet marketeers get a foot up. Thought I had finally found a site that cared about the beguiner marketers. One that was gonna make it easy for the little guy to get started. It's just really getting tuff to get going in this business..I guess it won't be any easier here.

Hi Brian!

You definitely have a leg up here. In my opinion, more so than other sites, because the rules and tactics used here are to GUARANTEE high quality results.

Now, if you are a beginner, I can help you every step of the way personally. You can send me an email anytime using the "contact" form, or you can just send me a personal message. I always try to respond within a few hours, but I will always get back to you within a day.

Plus, all other members of Seekyt are pretty social and will be there to help you out too.

Now, Seekyt used to be a social bookmarking site - which is why some articles say we are great for backlinking. The truth is, we are a unique articles website. But that's beneficial because bookmarks aren't really worth the effort for your money sites anyway.

If you are interested in making money with articles, I personally believe Seekyt is one of your best choices, Brian. We are still small, but we're all here to help one another, we have SEO optimized pages, and multiple revenue streams to make it easier to earn.

I just want to also mention that, I personally do care about beginner marketers. I care about every member, and I want you to all be successful. Let me know if you need help or guidance!

Welcome to Seekyt, Brian-w :) I'm not sure exactly what internet marketers do, but you can ask Admin.

Do you mean have links to your website? We are even allowed to link to Clickbank products here as long the article is good quality. Amazon too

Hi, admin! I think the new rules are great and believe that they actually help us to be more successful. One question though - if I write on one particular topic and want to include a link or two to another site covering the same topic (in a text which is 1500-2000 words long) - is that still OK?
Written by admin, 435 days ago.
Hi Jasmine! That is absolutely okay! Just as long as you are not linking to the same source more than a few times, it's perfectly fine with me to include links - including affiliate links if you want.

The only other rule about linking is that you can only link to sites which comply with the AdSense TOS - so, don't link to adult websites, drug websites, or "paid to click" websites. Aside from that, feel free :)

@admin: Of course I wouldn't link to the same source more than a few times, otherwise I would bury my SEO efforts, right? Also, I am disgusted by adult websites or drug websites or anything like that and I really doubt...actually I am 100% sure that my writing cannot be related or linked to such sites!
Thanks for the reply :-)

I have an article that was deleted from ehow during their last sweep, can I repost it here since it is no longer up on their site? Thanks for the help with uploading photos. The upload site you recommended worked like a charm. Glad to be a member on your site. Also I tried to edit one of my backlinks that was submitted back when you allowed them and I had to turn it into a 2000 letter article before I could resubmit it. Is it going to be like that with all backlinks if we want to edit them?
Written by admin, 429 days ago.
Unfortunately, the system will REQUIRE 2000 characters per backlink if you click the edit button.

Here's a quick workaround: insert several youtube videos, or images, or whatever else you can to increase the space. Videos take up a few hundred characters each.

As for your article on eHow, feel free to transfer over as many as you want, as long as they no longer exist (have been "replaced") on their site. I'm making special exceptions for eHow writers and HubPages writers whose content is being forcefully removed, or who just want to put their content somewhere safe.

@admin: be sure to check those articles that you consider letting people republish here: no offense to anybody, but if a certain article was removed, there had to be some reason for it. Just want to make sure I am on a high quality site otherwise it would be a waste of time investing so much work into this profile. ALL writers contribute to the quality of a site and although I understand that most people write to earn money, they must write for visitors first, everything else will come into place. If your visitors are satisfied, so is Google and everybody else :-) I really liked the change that Seekyt made and it has to be persistent in implementing it! People will produce good-quality articles on this site only if they love it and don't regret the time spent on it!

The quality will be checked. Fortunately, eHow has its own publishing standards. Most peoples' content is being removed from their site so that they can replace it with their own content and earn all the royalties from it (which means all the backlinks those members have made will now be pointing to something the members won't benefit from).

@hmm...strange policy (on eHow, I mean). Hopefully, people will realize Seekyt's potential and make it a priority. Glad to hear new members are coming in :-)

(Quote Jasmine: be sure to check those articles that you consider letting people republish here: no offense to anybody, but if a certain article was removed, there had to be some reason for it. End Quote)

My articles are being deleted from eHow.com because when I published my content 2-3 years ago, it was an original title, but sadly eHow took my title and reassigned to a contributor writer. This created duplicate titles.

All of the eHow articles that were deleted in the last sweep were deleted due to similar title or duplicate title. These said articles made it through 5 sweeps; they are all high quality articles.

@Susang6: Thanks for the clarification and I'm sorry this happened to you; it's so unfair :( Why didn't they inform you about their intent to delete these articles (maybe you could have changed the titles :( )?
Written by AFuller, 401 days ago.
@Jasmine - now that's a crystal ball questions we former eHow writers wish we had an answer to! There are several of us that are STILL cleaning up our websites and blogs because our backlinks to our own eHow articles and those of friends are now redirecting ...

As for Seekyt - it would be great if all could adhere to this from the guidelines: "You CAN NOT post articles at Seekyt if they are posted on ANY other website - this is duplicate/syndicated content, which is not allowed. "
