Need Help From Reddit Users

I have a question about Reddit.com. I can't for the life of me figure out the proper sub-Reddit to put my articles under. I have been using Reddit off/on for about a year.

Nothing works except World News and I know that my articles are not World news...I am worried that Reddit will get peeved if I keep it up.

All the other choices say things like , "text only allowed" and declines my link. I even tried entering Reddit.com, but it wouldn't take the link either.

What do regular articles go under?

I had no luck with reddit...in fact the moderator wrote me and told me that my topics were not well received by the other members. What I learned is celeb stuff and world news are hot topics on reddit. Wishing you the best of luck...with reddit.

I was finally able to get some info about choosing sub-reddits from a writer on Hubpages. On Reddit there is a search box where people can enter the topic of their articles. A drop down list appears. Now I can put mine under Shopping on Reddit.

I don't use Reddit all the time, just for a back link if I think of it.

Your articles are usually clever enough to pass on Reddit. If you take a look at the front page of their website, you'll see the kind of material that is expected from "Redditors," which is why it's not surprising that so many people's submissions are rejected on their site. Personally, I have not had much luck with Reddit. From a webmaster point of view, it's an active community with its own dynamic culture, and one in which only a minority of people are a good fit.

I'm very glad you are having some success with it!
