The holidays are just around the corner, and in order to take advantage of the season and earn as much as possible, you should write holiday themed articles as soon as possible.
Join in on this challenge by writing an article based on a holiday that is coming up (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, etc.). Then post a link and description of your article here for everyone to read and comment on.
Tip: remember, even though it's the holidays, you should still consider doing keyword research to find the most profitable topics to write about.

A new year usually comes with unrivalled hope and expectations which are visible in the first month. This can be anchored on a good start by holidaying in Finland which is known for its rivers and lakes making it a boating and fishing centre in the Scandinavian Europe. Its fairly cold dominant winters and warm summers make it an attractive all year round travel destination country. Some of the top beautiful travel destinations this new year are:
Jyvaskyla
This is the biggest central Finland city well known for the Nestle Oil Rally a World Rally championship. It boasts of beautiful scenery and a number of recreational facilities that make it attractive all year round. It offers unique winter sports like snow fishing, winter swimming, skiing activities and snow shoeing. There are well engineered slopes for amateur and advanced skiers with conducive playgrounds for children skating. The Alvar Aalto water park, which is the largest in Finland, is a major attraction making it a true destination for your vacation.
Helsinki
This capital of Finland is surrounded by ice cold waters scattered on beautiful islands. The port city founded in 1550 has beautiful scenery that is complimented with Northern architectural designs. If you get attention when the article is "fresh," it means that you are receiving a lot of direct traffic (from other writers and readers here at Seekyt) from the home page. It could also mean that your followers on the bookmarking sites you use are viewing your article.
The trick to long term traffic is 100% relative to SEO. Organic traffic, which is traffic from Google and other search engines, is the traffic that keeps coming back, day after day. It is also the traffic that will earn you 95-100% of your earnings.
You could estimate that it takes roughly 1,000 pageviews to earn around $20-30, assuming you are targeting a relatively decent keyword. With that mentality, you'd need around 4,000-5,000 pageviews per month to earn your $100 payout. This is a piece of cake in terms of long term SEO practices!
You could write 10 articles that all get 500 views per month, or 100 articles that get 50 views per month, etc. Usually, writing fewer articles on a well researched keyword is the best route - you won't get burnt out too fast, and you will tend to write much higher quality content.
If you do enough keyword research, you could find 10+ keywords each month that have 500-1,000+ searches per month, with very little competition for the keyword. This strategy is what 9/10 of the top earning writers at Seekyt use. The remaining 1/10 has been working on SEO for over a year on a single article which earns a lot of money - the rest have gotten to the level they are at in under six months with very little SEO.
To sum it all up, focus on long term goals instead of short term rewards. If you write an article today, write it with the intent that in six weeks to six months this article will start paying for itself, month after month. The mentality that some people have, which is to get discouraged after a few days when they don't earn anything, is not a healthy one. Long term goals + long term effort = lasting, long term results :)

By having small goals at first, and increasing by small amounts over time, you will inevitably be successful. That's what I've always done, and it's an effective strategy for anyone!
