When women find out they are expecting, the first thing she does is think of names. Using flowers names for kids are a very popular thing to do. Many flower types will make beautiful names, however just because you like the type of flower, does not make it a name, using some would be very cruel. Snapdragon would be pretty scary.....getting her married off could be a challenge :)

Thanks I also have a daughter named Jasmine, however she is 32 and had the name long before the movie. She was named after the flower. I've also known some kids with awful names.

I also have many friends with flower names, and I will say, not all of them are happy with them! But I guess I could show them this article and they can then realize that it could have been much, much worse. Thanks for adding a chuckle to my day!!

I like this article. It's funny to think that I have quite a few friends with names of flowers. I think the name Jasmine is so beautiful.
